The NOVITEC ROSSO Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

One of the car brands that come to anybody’s mind when hearing “best sports car” is Ferrari. So who dares to try and improve one such car? Well, in this case it’s NOVITEC ROSSO.

They took the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and added more power and better looks to it. It’s not like the car really needed this customization. The 612 Scaglietti debuted about 7 years ago and it still is lovable. It sports 530 horsepower at 7200 rpm and a maximum torque of about 434 pound-foot at 5250 revs. But NOVITEC ROSSO tweaked the original 5.7-liter engine to 565 hp at 7290 rpm and almost 450 lb-ft of maximum torque at 5300 rpm. Not bad at all!

With a stainless steel exhaust system, the new ride hits 62 mph from a standstill position in just 3.9 seconds. The maximum speed of the upgraded Ferrari is 202 mph. To reach this speed and still be safe, the car needs perfect traction and excellent cornering capability. For this, the guys at NOVITEC ROSSO introduced high-performance Pirelli P Zero tires, sized 257/30 ZR30 at the front and 355/25 R21 at the rear. The tires wrap huge 9Jx20” (front) and 12.5Jx21” (rear) three-piece NF3 alloy wheels.

The inside of the NOVITEC ROSSO Ferrari 612 Scaglietti can be personalized according to any customer’s preferences. The steering wheel – an ergonomically shaped one, of course – can be wrapped in the material you choose and it can have about any color you wish. But the best individualization comes with the seats: they can be ordered to fit exactly the owner’s body measurements!

The exterior hasn’t been neglected either. The upgrade package includes a completely new taillight design, new reflectors and side markers. We already mentioned the large rims, didn’t we?

Well, it looks good, it feels good, it drives excellently and it’s really powerful, so it must be a Ferrari. Or, in this case, an improved Ferrari.
